"DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS AN ADULT"
As we all know, there are many adults now who are living and dying in this world. I can say that the adults had already experienced the hard and easy problems in life. Some of them give up while on the other hand, the other adults tend to survive. That's why with adults, we learn many things in life.
I myself have my own view when it comes to being an adult. Being a good adult is someone who does his obligations and responsibilities all the time. An adult should act as a good role model to the people around him or her. He or she should learn to be independent. Also, being confident and having a high self - esteem is one of the most important thing in being an adult. Another thing what an adult should do is that they should learn how to live on their own especially when the time comes that his or her parents are no longer living anymore. They should learn how to make sacrifices too at times. One thing important with adults is that their maturity level would change and with that, they would know what is right and what is wrong when it comes to living it up with their life.
I believe that being an adult is the part where you learn to mature and become more open minded with many things. This is the stage where you are given already obligations by your family or parents. You have to live with it because it's part of growing up and so that you would be prepared in the future ahead of you. But you won't regret it afterwards because it's for your own good and you would definitely thank your parents for it.

6 - A Surprising Welcome Home
"DESCRIBE YOUR RIDE HOME"
Rides going home are usually the time where you feel exhausted already because of working in the office or studying in school for nine hours straight. Another thing is that you have so many school works or office works to do when you get home. You sometimes don't get enough rest anymore. But what's great there is that sometimes when you reached home, you see a great dinner prepared on the dining table. With that, your tiredness would somehow be paid off.
This Surprising welcome home just happened recently. We were just waiting for our dad to arrive in school. When he came, we rode the car and left. Usually when we travel on the way home, we discuss many things. I sometimes start the topic and then it goes on. My father and I were already planning things in what to buy for our dinner. So we decided to buy a roasted chicken in a nearby food store. My dad went down the car to buy the chicken. while we were waiting for our dad to return, my mother suddenly called. She asked if where are we at. So then I said that dad was just buying some chicken but we are leaving soon. So then my dad returned and then we left. After a few minutes we arrived home. We went down the car and then brought down some stuff first. Then after, we went straight inside the house already. When my mother saw us she said that we all look so wasted and exhausted. But based on my observation towards her, she looked so suspicious. I felt like there was something different. So then I just decided to enter my parents room because I had to leave my dad's files in there. When I went out of the room someone just laid an arm around my shoulder and then asked how am I doing. On my surprise, it was my third older brother. He came home from work in the cruise in Europe. We had no idea that he came home. My mother was part of the plan. I actually cried suddenly in front of all of them. My emotions can't be explained. I was full of happiness and at the same time excited. It was really a memorable ride going home.
That's why with this happening, I really treasured the moment. It was one of the greatest thing that happened in my life. Obviously, when it comes to my love ones I really do love them because I really cried and screamed that time. that's why many people would never know sometimes what would end their day. it could be a good one or a bad one.

5 - The Ancestral House in Manaog Pangasinan
"DESCRIBE A PLACE FROM YOUR PAST"
There are many people who went to a lot of places from their past. Usually those places are memorable to them. Maybe even some of them grew up from those places. Other than that, it is really a great experience to be able to explore to other places. What's good is that you would be able to encounter so many adventures and enjoyment in your life.
I grew up knowing to have an Ancestral House in Manaog, Pangasinan. That house was built a long time ago. The Japanese people were the one's who lived there before. Eventually that house was huge. It was made of hard wood. There were only two rooms. That Ancestral House was really near the Manaog Church. It's just walking distance.
According to my dad, all of his family relatives in his father side and their family grew up in that Ancestral House. They had so many family gatherings and parties in that house before. My dad also said that they would always play different kinds of games there. Actually, my two older brothers said they were still able to live in that house. They used to play there too. As for now, that house is empty. No one lives there anymore. Our last grandmother had passed away last year in that house. Knowingly, that Ancestral House has so many bats living in it already. When you enter the house you would be able to smell pee because of the bats. But what's amazing is that the house' foundation is still standing strong even though many years had already passed. The last thing they said about that house was that it has a spirit left inside that big Ancestral House.
I actually enjoyed writing about this topic. It gave me an idea right away in what to write. That's why for me it's really fun when you do a storytelling from the things you have experienced or encountered in your past. Especially now, many people had gone to so many places already. For sure it was so memorable to them.

4 - A Disappointment
"WRITE ABOUT A DISAPPOINTMENT"
What are disappointments? Do these things affect people a lot? Basically, disappointments are really one of the things that makes people down or upset with some situations that they encounter in life. Many people had already experienced disappointments ever since this world started. Not of all them are able to handle the disappointment because for them it's too depressing and upsetting
I was in elementary when this disappointment happened. Grade 6 was my level during that time. It was the time of the year where you start preparing for your graduation practices. So eventually, we were all really focusing on our school works. We didn't want to fail because we were already excited to enter the high school life. But during those days that we had to study and grades that needs to be viewed to our parents was really terrifying and scary. There was a time that we had our Unit Exam. So then, after that we were really nervous because we barely studied for the exam and it was already during that day. After how many days, the grades were finally released. Then we brought it home and had planned so many times how are we going to show it to dad. But then we decided to show it at the same time before he left for work. We got both of our grades out of the brown envelope and then hand it over to him. When we showed our grades to him, we saw that he's facial expression was disappointed. He suddenly threw our grades sheet back on to us and then left for work. So we knew that he was really upset that day. We thought that he won't talk to us anymore. But what's good there is that we apologized right away to him. Good thing he forgave us afterwards.
With this, I learned that as much as possible, you should not upset or disappoint anyone especially who are really close to you. In short, if you know that the person wont be happy with what you are going to do or going to show, don't think of disappointing the person anymore. He might do it to you as well and definitely, you won't like that revenge.

3 - A Good Friend
"DESCRIBE THE QUALITIES OF A GOOD FRIEND"
What is a good friend? Are they important to us? What are their purposes? A friend is a creation of God who is meant to live and to grow old with us. I myself too have many friends already and I believe that everyone of us has a purpose why we have nice and awesome friends. Most of us had friends ever since we were still little. Usually it is what we call our childhood friends.

If you have the good qualities of a good friend, you have a good friendship towards other people. But what are really the qualities of a good friend? One important quality for me is a friend who would always be there for you no matter what happens. When you have problems, he or she will be there to help you solve it. Also, whenever you're sad, he or she will comfort you. That friend of yours would possibly make your day. Another good quality is a friend who accepts you for who you are. No matter how rich or how poor you are, or what kind of attitude or personality you have, that friend would still cherish and treasure the friendship that you both have. A friend who doesn't back-stab or gossip about you is a true and loyal friend because that kind of friend knows who you really are. He or she could possibly know all you strengths and weaknesses already. That's why most people who has so many friends nowadays, act like brothers and sisters.
Having friends is one of the happiest thing a person could have. without them, there would be no fun and excitement to add in your life. What's good is that you have friends who would tell you to change the bad things that you have in you. Other than that, you would learn from them. Though friends are known to be very influential at times because that's where other people would see how you act with your attitude and behavior.

2 - My Mother's Birthday Surprise
"THE SURPRISE"
When you say the word surprise, it is known to be done by many people in a secret way. This is usually the cause of having an excitement to a one special occasion. Actually, this is already a hobby to most people. For me, this is very necessary to do all the time. You get to expect already that you would be able to make someone happy. That's why it's always better to do it intentionally to other people who are very special to you.
It happened two years ago when my mother celebrated her 50th birthday. My family and I were really planning everything. We were so careful in keeping our surprise birthday party for her. She had no idea that even though we were all busy with our office works and school works, we still had the time to schedule and plan everything that was needed for her surprise party. When it was already her birthday, she wasn't really sure of what her plan was. What she knows was that some of her brothers and sisters were busy with many things. What she didn't know was that most of our family members and relatives were already waiting at the venue. They were just there hiding and waiting for our arrival.
My mom actually had an idea already of the sudden change of plans. What my dad told her was that our family friends were there to meet us. One reason they were there also was that they had to replace our family relatives due to lack of presence. So then we left and went on to the restaurant. We finally arrived and got down from the car. Our family friends were there, and they greeted my mom. While on the other hand, she had no idea that our family relatives were already preparing to surprise her. But if you look at her face, you can feel that she was kind of down and disappointed because what she knows was that none of our closest relatives were going to show up. Then after maybe a few minutes, they all suddenly showed up while singing the birthday song. Some of them were bringing the cake. My mother was so surprised. she can't believe what was happening. The other people who she didn't expect to see there, were really there celebrating with her.
Everyone of them were really happy for my mom. They were glad because the surprise was a success. Though my mom said that she kind of had a slight feeling that there was something fishy. Other than that, everyone enjoyed. For my mom, she can't describe the feeling that she had in her that time. She was so overwhelmed and glad. You can see that she really cried because of how surprised and how appreciated she felt during that day. It was really her special day.
With this story, I've learned that it is always a good thing to surprise people. Whenever you make a surprise for someone, they can feel that you appreciate them. Another thing also is that they can feel that they are important to you that's why you make it a point that you do something very special for them. Other than that, you will feel great because you know that you were able to do something good to someone who will never forget the appreciative thing you've done for them.

1 - A Good Parent
"DESCRIBE THE QUALITIES OF A GOOD PARENT"
Based on my experiences with my two parents, I can say that there are several qualities to mention as being a good parent. One is that your parents brought you up to be a good child by teaching you the core values at home. Another good quality to mention also is that they tend to show strictness on you because they just want you to be safe all the time. You can also say that a quality of a good parent is someone who supports and cares for you in times of your needs. A good quality of a parent also is someone who tells and teaches you not to be insecure but rather just being who you are. Being natural and being confident with yourself would always be the number one fact at times. Another quality of a good parent is someone who always tell you what is right or wrong. In short, that parent would act as a good role model to his or her children and that parent would give them additional knowledge in how to be a good parent also someday. Lastly, is that a good quality of a good parent is a parent who is proud of his or her children. He or she is never embarrassed to show his or her child.
For me, it is very important to know really the qualities of a good parent because someday, I would be a parent too. I would definitely need this qualities so that I would be successful in bringing up my own child. That's why I'm thankful to the Lord because I have the chance to be able to learn more from my parents.
