MY JOBS AT HOME
I was still in elementary when my parents gave me my very first job at home. They said that I have to learn while I'm still young. I won't be living with them forever that's why I have to learn on my own. There would come a time that you would get married someday and you have to know the different kinds of household chores at home. Especially when you see that your future husband knows how to take care of the house more than you do.
My very first job was to sweep our floor at home. my mother and my older brothers taught me how to sweep the floor without really leaving any dirt behind. Since I was still a kid during that time, it was a challenge for me. Then while I was in my growing up stage, they taught me other household chores. They taught me how to mop the floor, how to wipe the displays and furniture, how to wash the dishes, how to cook food, how to do food preparations, how to feed our pets and how to water the plants. It was exhausting though amazingly it was a fun experience for me. I'm proud of it because it's part of my childhood. Now that I'm 17 yrs. old, I can do all of these chores well. I'm not gonna complain anymore for the reason that I cannot reach the sink or I cannot reach the broom to the hidden corners of the living room.
It's fun when your family members who are older than you teaches you about household chores. You get to learn more. It really gives you additional knowledge. Though there would come a time that you would feel lazy to do them but it's really part of growing up. You won't regret about it.
